Multiple Streams of Income by Robert G. Allen is nothing but a classic and timeless piece packed with ideas on how you can create unlimited wealth. Shortly after I graduated from the University, I saw the book with a friend during my Service year and straight away decided to have it as part of my library collections. The wealth of information hidden in this book is mind-blowing as every line is revealing and every page thought-provoking. In my opinion, I’ve only been able to mine just about 1% of the information in the book as I’m working to explore and master an area before progressing to the other areas. That’s how massive and exhaustive the ideas are! I see the book more like a compendium of money-making ideas and a reference material for students of wealth creation.
Robert G. Allen is a best selling Author, Speaker and Mentor acclaimed for his ‘nothing down’ principle on real estate investments. According to Robert, at age 22 after graduation from the University, he sought to enter the job market but was rejected by all the companies he applied to work for and so was unable to land a job. This experience propelled him to seek the alternative path – the road often less traveled. Today, it’s all success stories as Robert is not only making his millions but also helping others to do so.
The book is an eye-opener to the world of opportunities that exist in real estate, the stock market, network marketing, home-based business, the internet, intellectual property (IP) and so on. And what makes it very unique, setting it apart from other books in its category is the simplicity by which Robert conveyed the principles and the practical nature of each of the streams. The book has got 18 solid chapters and 312 pages; quite a heavy read but would be best to digest the entire volume stream by stream, bit by bit.
To be very frank with you, if like me you’ve got big dreams and have come to realise that your paychecks, salaries or wages alone aren’t going to be sufficient to fund those dreams, then you may need this book. On the flip side, if you’re just looking to earn extra income and not familiar with how to do so, then I’d recommend you have a read of this book. Otherwise, if you’re a student of wealth creation, then this is one of those texts you can have as an encyclopaedia.
