One of the quickest ways to rot and waste your life is by living without a commitment to a definitive reason. And this could mean living your life without a sense of purpose and direction – a sheer unawareness of the reason why you’ve got the breath in your nostrils.
This kind of living produces nothing but dissatisfaction and regrets, disappointments and lack of fulfilment. Just like Thomas Carlyle wrote, “The man without a purpose is like a ship without a rudder – a waif, a nothing, a no-man.”
“Life becomes significant and meaningful when we come to a realisation of the reason for living!” – Sonnie Amadi
Everything God made, he made for a reason. All that God ever created, he created to fulfill a function. There is a purpose why he created the trees, the waters, the lands, the animals and even we the human beings. So you and I were not made by God to just occupy space and fill planet earth, we were made to fulfill a purpose – God’s purpose.
