Lately, the events of my life have left me with a deep conviction beyond any traceable doubts that I’m here for a reason. There’s no telling how much of time we waste being busy at things that do not matter at the expense of things that should really matter.
You can’t fathom how many opportunities we miss every day pursuing things that ought to be pursuing us. Thus, living life at the mercy of chance. There’s no telling how much of life’s essence we forgo living complacent, indifferent and indecisive. Friends, we ought to put away every pretence and ignorance and embrace God’s purpose for our lives.
I believe the time has fully come to be true to our values and convictions. To lay aside every mediocrity and lack of zeal, in pursuit of a more fulfilling life. The time has come to be who you were made to be and accomplish what you were born to accomplish. To live life from a purposeful and intentional perspective.
Think of it, how long will you sit on the fence and dangle between two opinions? How long do you want to watch your life tick-tock away meaninglessly, all because of your inaction? For how long will you drift through life and ebb away the gifts, resources, potentials, skills, abilities, talents and investments that you’ve been endowed with.
Today, I choose not to mince words or curry my vocabulary. I’d rather be known as calling a spade a spade than be known otherwise. Therefore, my point is: Do something meaningful with your life! Find out God’s purpose why you’re here. Let’s part ways with shadow-boxing and embrace destiny.
As for me, I’ve come to realise that I’m here on earth and alive today for a greater reason, a reason that exceeds what people think of me. Far greater in priority than my 9 to 5 job, superior to fame and incomparable with fortunes. I’m here for a reason that is more valuable than lovely cars, and fancy apartments. Mind you, I’m ain’t saying these things are bad but that there’s more to life than bread and butter, fun and fanfare, wealth and possessions.
